WHY GREEN TRANSPORT?
The Green Transport Strategy (2018-2050) launched by the Department of Transport is intended to: Reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other negative environmental impacts of the transport sector Promote economic growth and boost jobs. The Introduction to Green Transport SLP provides an understanding of concepts underpinning sustainable transport, with a view to implementing the Green Transport Strategy.
THE PROGRAMME
The Short Learning Programmes (SLP) is entirely online on UJ’s Blackboard Platform, with students completing it in their own time. Each of the seven topics should take 5hours to complete with an additional 1hour for assessment (45 hours in total)

Grade 12 certificate or NQF 4 equivalent
