Programme Fees


Purpose

To afford an opportunity to current and aspiring professionals in diverse built environment disciplines (including inter alia urban and regional planning, architecture, quantity surveying, construction, civil engineering, real estate, property evaluation and building sciences) to further develop their skills, understanding of and competence in humans’ settlement contexts and their evolution. The impact of urbanisation, technology and environment issues on human settlements, sustainable development considerations, financing and management, stakeholders, land use considerations, infrastructure provision, as well as legislation and policies in the context of human settlement and community development


Career Opportunities

Manage and supervise human settlements development projects and engage with communities effectively and efficiently. Analyse the development trends of modern human settlements


Admission Requirements

Any holder of a Bachelor honours degree in any relevant field such as Technological, Commercial, Social Sciences, Science and Arts will be eligible for admission to study towards the Master of Sustainable Urban Planning and Development.

Holders of Bachelor of Technology Degrees with additional research experience at Honours Level or participation in a bridging programme and a minimum of 2 years work experience will also be eligible for admission to study towards the Master of Sustainable Urban Planning and Development.
