About Sinenhlanhla Nyoni
Sinenhlanhla Nyoni is a GES (Global Excellence Stature) Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Social Work and Community Development. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from UCT and a Master of Arts in Clinical Social Work from UJ. Prior to joining UJ, she worked in the NGO and Corporate Sector managing Community Social Work projects and Employee Wellness Solutions respectively. Sinenhlanhla teaches Social Work with Families and Children and facilitates Internship for second year students in the BSW programme while also running her Private Practice. She is currently pursuing her Doctoral studies in Couples Counselling focusing on indigenous and culturally sensitive practices.
