Lagouge is a full Professor in the department of Mechanical engineering at the University of Johannesburg. He received a Doctorate degree in Mechanical engineering focusing on engineering optimization and thermo-acoustic technology and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering focusing on mechanical vibration from Cape Peninsula University of Technology. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical engineering from the University of Lubumbashi
