About Ms. Pamela Tshabalala

Pamela Tshabalala describes herself as a focused, dedicated and a hardworking academic. She holds a Bachelor of Education Degree (BEd) in the intermediate phase where she majored in Mathematics, Culture and the Natural Environment, and English for the primary school. She went on to complete her Honours in Childhood Education with a distinction. She is currently an MEd student in the Department of Childhood Education (DCE) and her research focuses on how student teachers’ utilization of questioning as a core teaching practice to support reading for meaning in Grade 3 is enhanced through using Mixed Reality Simulation (MRS). Pamela is currently an Assistant Lecturer (AL) and has previously worked in the DCE as a senior tutor, a research assistant and has filled a teaching relief position where she taught the Teaching Studies module to the foundation phase first-year students.
