Programme Fees


Purpose

The purpose of this program is to equip students with a foundational understanding of quantitative finance, preparing them for entry into the BCom Hons in Quantitative Finance (H3Q15Q) offered by the Department of Finance and Investment Management (DFIM). This program covers key concepts in financial mathematics, statistical analysis, and the application of quantitative models used in the financial industry, including the pricing of various financial products such as derivatives, options, and bonds.


Career Opportunities

Career opportunities for Quantitative Finance graduates include, but are not limited to, analyst positions (i.e., quantitative analyst, financial analyst, and risk analyst), data science, risk management, investment banking, and trading.


Admission Requirements

Any Bachelor’s Degree, related BTech degree or any equivalent NQF level 7 qualification. Applicant may be subject to an internal selection process.
