The programme is a total of 5 hours per day, 2 days a week, over a 16-week period (4 months)

Programme Fees


Purpose

The SLP will equip participants with the requisite psychological knowledge, skills, and psychological strategies for managing crime , criminality, and mental processes such as well-being. In line with the aim of increasing sustainable peace within communities, the programme will allow participants to focus their attentions on components that lead to peace building. The programme adds value to the experience of the people working in multiple sectors that focus on violent crime prevention, and the rehabilitation of violent offenders, in that it will expose the potential participant to knowledge that is aimed towards sustainable peace rather than only crime reduction, prevention, and rehabilitation


Admission Requirements

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent 3-year qualification OR Appropriate personal and/or work experience in either private, public, NPO, CBO or NGO environments working in the area of criminal justice, prevention, reduction, and eradication.


Selection Process

Applicants are required to submit an online application, together with certified copies of their school leaving certificate and degree / diploma transcripts and a detailed CV.
