The UJ Supplier Management Department is a subsection of the UJ Procurement Department which falls under the UJ Finance and Expenditure.

In line with the University’s vision statement, Supplier Management will deliver the highest value to our internal and external customers, suppliers, employees and shareholders as the best go to department when it comes to Supplier Management.
To discover, develop and deliver innovative service, through new products and services without compromising corporate governance.

The team is responsible for the following:

  • Supplier Database management
  • Supplier vetting and evaluation
  • UJ Small Business Development (We offer the UJ Small Business Enrichment Programme (SBEP) and the Technopreneurship programme to qualifying SMME’S).
