About Prof Magda Hewitt

Prof Magda Hewitt (Associate Professor) is currently the Deputy Head: Postgraduate, Leadership Programmes at the University of Johannesburg (UJ), within the Department of Industrial Psychology and People Management (IPPM). She also heads the Leadership Academy (for-profit unit) within the department. Magda brings with her a wealth of academic and hands on practical experience in the fields of business; entrepreneurship; leadership teaching and learning. She has supervision many Master’s and PhD students to graduation. She published and deliver papers at conferences. She specialises in  organisational and entrepreneurial leadership and its associated leadership complexities. She teaches Research methodology and Individual and Organisational facilitation and Coaching to Master students in Personal and Professional Leadership and in Leadership Coaching. She is a visiting scholar at the university of Zagreb, Croatia.
