About Prof Leon Lategan

Prof Lategan is a qualified as a biokineticist at the University of Stellenbosch after which he spent 10 years in industry, before joining the university as a lecturer. He specializes in isokinetic strength testing and sports injury assessment and rehabilitation. He currently teaches undergraduate Biokinetics students and also supervises post-graduate Biokinetics and Sport Science students. He has published peer-reviewed research articles in the fields of sports injuries, sport science, chronic disease and wellness.
