About Prof Eleanor Ross
Prof. Eleanor Ross is a Visiting Professor at the CSDA. She has a Bachelor of Social Work, an MA in Social Work (cum laude) and a PHD from University of the Witwatersrand. She is a former Head of Department of Social Work at Wits and previously served as a member of the South African Council for Social Service Professions. Prof. Ross is an honorary life member of the South African Speech-Language Hearing Association. She was editor of the SA Journal of Communication Disorders and currently serves on the international boards of Social Work in Health Care and the Journal of Social Work and Human Rights.
