Biography
Kiara Lawrence is currently a Human Sciences Research Council intern as well as part-time lecturer (Sociology and Planning) at the University of Johannesburg, Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment. She is also pursuing her Masters of Urban and Regional Planning. She holds an Honours and Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the Durban University of Technology. Before, she was a teaching assistant in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and a part-time lecturer in Planning and Design at the Durban University of Technology, Town and Regional Planning Department (2021). She attended Crystal Point Secondary School where she attained her NSC (2016).
