About Mr Ernest Tebogo Seqhobane

Ernest Seqhobane joined TWR on 14 February 1983 working as a lab technician in the Ceramics Department. He maintaining the ceramics laboratory, prepared the clay, mixed the casting slip and glazes, as well as helped students in firing the kilns. In 2011 he joined the Department of Industrial Design at the University of Johannesburg as Technical Assistant when the ceramic studios were amalgamated into the Department of Industrial Design. He continues with his duties in the ceramics lab, keeping it well managed and tidy, and also helps in the industrial design workshop to assist in changing parts of the machines and distributing tools to the students from the tool room. He is a level 1 certified first aider, trained by the NFAA.
