About Dr. Nadia Morton

Dr Nadia Morton has worked in higher education since 2014, teaching Industrial Psychology, Research and Workplace Readiness modules at Boston Media House and the University of Johannesburg. She has also been involved in postgraduate research at LISOF and Boston Media House before joining the University of Johannesburg full-time in 2021, where she supervises Honours, Master’s and Doctoral research studies. Dr Morton holds a PhD from the University of Johannesburg, where she has also completed her undergraduate and Master’s qualifications and is currently heads up the Industrial Psychology Programme in the Department. Her research interests are personality, developing psychometric assessments, and the role and impact of technology and the fourth industrial revolution on the world of work. Dr Morton is also part of the South African Personality Inventory project, focusing on developing a personality instrument unique to the South African context and workplace, and has done some exciting research to link personality to behaviours displayed at work.
