About Dr I. Ward

Dr Isolde Ward is an experienced marketer, with professional services marketing, financial services marketing as well as research, teaching and learning experience in marketing. She lived and worked in London (United Kingdom) for seven years, before returning to South Africa to serve this beautiful country. She is a professional, who is passionate about people, their success and growth and the role marketing can play in this journey! To date, she has supervised four Master’s students to graduation, and ten HONS Marketing Research projects to finalisation. She has published several chapters in books on the following topics; Integrated Marketing Communications, Consumer Behaviour, Marketing Research and Business-to-Business Marketing. Furthermore, she has delivered over 15 conference papers on national and international conferences and published 7 journal articles. AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS 2021 – Excellence in Master’s Supervision Award 2020 – Extra Mile Award (School Level) 2020 – Summa Cum Laude achieved for the Professional Digital Marketing Certification. 2019/2020 – Participated in the UJ Woman’s Leadership Development Programme (University Level) 2019 – Winner of the Teaching Award (School Level) 2019 – HONS Research Project Winner (Faculty Level) 2014 – Faculty Winner of the Teaching Award (Faculty Level)
