About Dr David Matsepe

Dr David Matsepe is Head of Research at the South African Democratic Teachers Union (SADTU), and a Research Associate at the University of Johannesburg (UJ). He is the founder and Chief Editor of the Journal of the South African Democratic Teachers Union (JSADTU), and serves as editorial board member for the Journal of Educational Studies (JES), University of Venda. Dr Matsepe holds membership of several professional organisations, including the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES), South African Education Research Association (SAERA), the Research Committees of Education International (EI) and the Southern Africa Teachers’ Organization (SATO).

He has several peer-reviewed publications to his credit, of which the most recent are Matsepe, D., & Maluleke, M.
