The Academic Development Centre (ADC) is situated within the Division of Academic Development and Support. The principal function of the ADC is to provide comprehensive, innovative and data-informed academic support and other interventions that enable student success. This is driven by an over-arching strategy – the Integrated Student Success Initiative (ISSI) – and the implementation of this strategy in broad and multiple ways. The ISSI is constantly evolving, and requires informed, creative and innovative senior professional support staff to ensure its ongoing development and success.

The work being done in ADC is data informed and research based whilst still being very practical. In line with the drive towards leading and preparing for the 4th Industrial Revolution, ADC is making intentional and thoughtful strides towards providing a wide variety of online student success artefacts and resources.
