Purpose

The aim of the SLP is to introduce participants to the foundations of conflict analysis, intervention, and transformation which can be applied to
understanding conflicts at the individual, as well as inter-and intra-group level. They will develop the skills to analyse conflict, identify its elements and sources and support the conflicting parties to create sustainable solutions. This SLP works from the assumption that conflict is an inevitable part of everyday life and, that if managed well it can transform relationships between individuals and teams as well as in institutions.


Career Opportunities

Students taking this SLP would come from a variety of professional settings such as teaching, nursing, coaching, counselling, or personnel
management. They are in leadership positions in organisations that experience high levels of conflict which requires more effective

Admission Requirements

A SC or NSC with bachelor’s endorsement is required for admission to this SLP.  Preference will be given to applicants with more than 3 years’ work experience in the field of conflict-management, group leadership or human resource management. Applicants should have access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.

Applicants are required to submit an online application, together with certified copies of their qualifications obtained and the related certified copies of the academic transcripts and a CV detailing work history.
