Programme Fees


Purpose

To introduce learners to the basics of blockchain technology, inn order to ensure that the students understand what the blockchain technology is, and what its capabilities are. The program is self-paced, and consists of three courses. This program should run for approximately six hours. Upon the completion of this SLP, the student will be able to understand the fundamentals of the blockchain technology. Furthermore, the student will acquire knowledge on how the blockchain is used in the Bitcoin cryptocurrency. Finally, the student will learn the benefits and costs of the decentralized ledger.


Admission Requirements

This SLP will be open to anyone with a matric certificate and a sufficient background in computing. Candidates should provide proof of working knowledge in computer programming. And candidates should understand and be able to read and write in English.


Selection Process

Selection is based on academic credit.
