About Prof Soraya P Malinga

Prof Soraya P. Malinga’s research interest involves finding sustainable solutions to solve problems relating to water quality. This approach involves applying the principles of nanoscience and nanotechnology to develop materials using membrane technology for drinking and wastewater treatment. She therefore, develop and evaluate novel reactive mixed matrix flat sheet or hollow fiber membranes functionalized with dendrimers, hyperbranched polymers, catalytic and photocatalytic nanoparticles and enzymes for water treatment.
