About Patrick S. Pouabe Eboule

Biography

Patrick S.P. Eboule was born in Cameroon. He is a final year Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Sciences at the University of Johannesburg. He received its M.Tech. degree in electrical and electronic engineering at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, in Dec 2017.  His Ph.D. degree research is based on the studied and the feasibility of a nine-phase power transmission line system and the utilization of artificial intelligence techniques to detect, classify and locate faults in such a transmission line. He is now implementing the artificial intelligence algorithms to predict various faults that may occurred in such a system. He is interested in power systems, machine learning, artificial intelligence.  Patrick Eboule is an engineer, member of the Institute of Intelligent Systems (IIS) in the school of electrical and electronic engineering, University of Johannesburg, member of the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and Power and Energy Society in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). In December 2019, Patrick Eboule received a student paper award at the 11th IEEE PES Asia-Pacific Power and Energy Engineering Conference (APPEEC2019) held in macau.
