Academic Career Profile
Lesedi Matlala’s comprehensive expertise spans academia and professional engagement. His Master’s research delves into ‘Factors Influencing the Implementation of Auditor-General’s Recommendations in South African Municipalities.’ Currently, he lectures Public Management and Governance, specializing in Public Policy, Monitoring, and Evaluation at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

In addition to his academic role, Lesedi is an active member of vital organizations: Association of Southern African Schools & Departments of Public Administration & Management (ASSADPAM), South African Association of Public Administration and Management (SAAPAM), and African Evaluation Association (AfrEA). His dedication extends globally as a Visiting Researcher at Michigan State University, contributing as a Fulbright candidate.

His involvement in esteemed societies such as the American Evaluation Association (AEA), Thabo Mbeki African Leadership Institute Forum (TMALIF), and South African Monitoring & Evaluation Association (SAMEA) reflects his extensive experience in evaluation and leadership.
