Despite advancements in the past 100 years gender and racial inequality in respect of black women within South Africa’s legal profession persist. Black females are the majority of individuals completing legal studies yet there is a gap. There is a lack of representation of women in the legal profession and in leadership. Due to this challenge, the profession, communities, and the nation are not reaping the benefits of women’s leadership in law. We will play our role in responding to this challenge. Will you join us?
