Dr Lulu Mmakola – Gender and the Military
Dr Mngobi Ngubane – Dr Ngubane is a PDRF in the CSRP. Dr Ngubane is an agricultural and rural development expert who specializes in land reform and redistribution. He obtained his MA from the Free State University and his PhD from the University Western Cape’s Institute for Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies (PLAAS). The title of his dissertation was: ‘Investigating socio-spatial trajectories of class formation: Accumulation from below and above on “New Qwa Qwa farms” from the mid-1980s to 2016.’ Born of a family of labour tenants in KwaZulu-Natal, he has a special interest in land restitution involving this social group
