DELM staff are internationally and locally published in accredited peer-reviewed journals. A number of staff are National Research Foundation rated researchers, that places them among the leading researchers in South Africa in their respective fields.

We regularly receive distinguished visiting professors. During 2016-2018 Professor Philip Hallinger and Professor Philomena Essed will spend time in the Department. They will be involved in teaching, research supervision, and joint research and writing.
