You are invited to an INTERACTIVE RESEARCH OPEN DAY with the Department of Religion Studies at the University of Johannesburg
Religion plays a major role in society, for better and worse, and in both beautiful and challenging ways. Thus, research into religions matters. It has the potential of shaping a more just and diverse future. The ethnographic and textual research conducted in the Department of Religion Studies at UJ by staff and postgraduate students alike explores living faiths in their social and political contexts, focusing on Christianity and Islam in (South) Africa.
