Please note that this tender consists of two (2) Proposal’s as follows:

  1. Request for Proposal for a Student Information System. (A readily available system/off the shelve).
  2. Request for Proposal to Develop a Student Information System. (Development from scratch)

Bidders are welcome to bid for either or both proposals.

A compulsory virtual tender briefing session will take place on Friday 23 May 2025

Time: Starting from 12:00pm ending at 13:30pm.

Supplier Questions and Answers Deadlines: Friday 13th of June 2025 by close of business.

Supplier Demonstration Meeting: From 14th of July 2025 to 18 of July 2025 (Time will be communicated to bidders who obtain a minimum of 70 points from stage 2 Technical Evaluation to proceed to the next stage which will be stage 3 supplier demonstrations showcasing their systems/solution.

Service Providers who would like to attend the tender briefing must send an email to phillipz@uj.ac.za , in order to receive the MS Teams meeting link. Only bidders who attend compulsory virtual tender briefing session will be permitted to participate in the tender process.

The meeting link will be released on Thursday 22 May 2025 to bidders who have shown interest and confirm that they will participate.

Tender Closing Date and Time: Friday 20th of June 2025 at 12h00.

Note: Bidders are requested to register on Oracle iCloud Application portal before attending the briefing session to enable access to the tender documents.  Registration link is on the UJ website at supplier management. I have attached a User Training Manual – Oracle Cloud Supplier Response that will assist you during registration process. Bidders who are already registered or on UJ data base please make sure that your company documents are updated and valid to avoid being blocked on the system and not being able to access the tender pack. To send the updated please send them to this email address: suppliersapp@uj.ac.za and type your company name and vendor number on email subject.
