Late Enquiries

Late enquiries are CLOSED

The University of Johannesburg warns all applicants not to fall victim to people trying to scam them out of money by promising admission or a study space at the University of Johannesburg.  Do not trust anyone promising to assist you in return for a fee.  Admissions to the University are based on academic merit alone.

If you encounter any such suspicious activity, please report the incident to the UJ ethics hotline at uj@thehotline.co.za

Welcome to UJ’s late enquiry system. Please note that there will be NO walks-ins allowed for late enquiries in January 2026.

UJ will be conducting a final selection process after the release of the final grade 12 results and inform you after 5 working days on the outcome of their enquiry status.

You are not required to visit any campus to confirm your final enquiry status. If you have not received a sms/e-mail after 5 working days from when the late enquiry system opened, then please click HERE to verify your application status or call the UJ Call Centre (011 559 4555) for more information.

Anybody who wants to enquire whether UJ still has space in a particular qualification or want to change to another course must use the late enquiry system from (date and time to be confirmed) until (date and time to be confirmed). Please note – dates are subject to change.  Only qualifications where UJ still has space available will be available on the late enquiry system if you meet the minimum entrance requirements.

Continuing with the enquiry, you agree to the terms and conditions (POPIA) – click HERE to view
