About Mr. Patrick Thabo Makhubalo
Mr. Makhubalo has a keen interest in ICTs in Education and serves as an ICT lecturer within the Learning Technologies Unit. His mission is to prepare teachers to be innovative in their use of technologies for teaching and learning. As a leader, I am dedicated to developing essential skills in students to meet the demands of education in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). An early adopter of various technologies, Mr. Makhubalo, is passionate about experimenting with new tools in the classroom to enhance the learning experience. My Philosophy is based on the belief that education is vital that one should teach students the fundamental skills necessary to live a successful life as confident and informed citizens. As such, in my teaching advocate for a pedagogy that explicitly links scientific concepts to students’ everyday experiences, empowering them to see ICT as a meaningful tool for understanding and engaging with the world around them.
