Programme Fees


Purpose

The aim of this SLP is to develop the practical, foundational, and reflective competencies in nursing research, fieldwork, experimental, professional and technological leadership as well as consultation skills of postgraduate nursing students. Knowledge of and insight into the research process, such as reasoning, problem-solving, analysis, synthesis, interpretation, comparison, evaluation, formulation and communication of research data will be developed


Admission Requirements

A minimum of 480 credits, NQF level 8 with a Baccalaureate or equivalent qualification.

Proof of registration with the South African Nursing Council as a general nurse and within the optional specialised field (community nurse, midwife, psychiatric nurse, nurse administrator or nurse educator). 65% in the core modules in the undergraduate qualification in which the student intends to obtain the master’s degree.
