Curriculum

This module is the exit module of the Postgraduate Diploma in Compliance and focuses on the principles relating to the interpretation of laws. These principles changed after 1994 and those who have to read and interpret laws must understand these principles and be able to apply them correctly. The module will focus on aspects of laws that are particularly important from a compliance perspective. The exit module (B.I.T) in the Postgraduate Diploma in Compliance covers the intricate field of legislative interpretation relevant to the other modules that cover Anti-Money Laundering, Board Governance, Compliance Management and Basic Interpretation of Theory. B.I.T serves as the 6-month exit module covering the intricate field of legislative interpretation relevant to Anti-Money Laundering, Board Governance and Compliance Management (see relevant
brochures).


Admission Requirements

In order to meet our administrative and regulatory requirements, a student needs to be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Law or Commerce or an equivalent qualification on NQF Level 7.
