Programme Fees


Purpose

The purpose of this qualification is to develop the intellectual and professional skills that provide them with the opportunity to show evidence of independent scientific work in Human Resource Management. This qualification will further provide the students with the opportunity to display competence in the application of related Research Methodology, and the proper written and/or oral communication of the research process and findings, and to reflect on the research process and findings.


Admission Requirements

An appropriate Honours degree in Commerce in the broad field of Human Resource Management: Human Resource Management; or Industrial Psychology; or Human Resource Development; or Employment Relations. An average of at least 65% for the Honours degree. An honours module in Research Methodology (NQF level 8) with a score of at least 60%. Student number constraints necessitate a selection process consisting of selection interviews, psychometric testing and a research proposal exercise.
