Purpose
The purpose of this qualification is to develop a student to have a broad understanding of entrepreneurship and business, with a specific practical outcome and experience of having their own business and how to successfully start and grow the business. The qualification prepares the student in both the fields of entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship for the diverse challenges present in the business environment and equips them with the necessary analytical and cognitive skills to analyse and implement solutions to these challenges in their own businesses. This qualification mainly prepares students to start and own their own businesses as entrepreneurs.

It is recommended that applicants to this qualification show a desire to start their own business.
Admission Requirements
A minimum APS of 22 with Mathematics or 24 with Mathematical Literacy. English 4 (50%) Mathematics or Technical Mathematics 3 (40%) or Mathematical Literacy 5 (60%).

Selection is based on academic credit.
