Purpose

The purpose of this qualification is to develop competent sport and exercise scientists to ensure that the identification, development and performance of athletes are carried out professionally, effectively with a scientific background and an ethical approach.


Career Opportunities

Sport Scientist, Sport Coach, Fitness Instructor, Health and Life Style Instructor or Consultant, Performance Analyst.


Admission Requirements

Minimum APS of 27 with Mathematics and minimum APS of 28 with Mathematical Literacy. English 5 (60%+), Mathematics 3 (40%+), Mathematical Literacy 4 (50%+) and Life Sciences 4 (50%+) *Additional subject 1, 2 must be minimum 4 (50%+) and subject 3 must be minimum 3 (40%+).


Selection Process

Selection will be based on academic merit.
