Purpose

The purpose of this SLP is to broaden and deepen the knowledge, understanding, insight and skills of Local Economic Development managers and practitioners and others involved in LED-related activities who are working at local government level to be able to identify and facilitate public-private partnerships for local economic development to promote economic development, in order to create employment opportunities, reduce poverty and improve service delivery to local communities.
