About Ms Hemisha Makan

Hemisha Makan is lecturer and researcher at the Department of Transport and Supply Chain Management. In addition, she is also the programme manager for the Diploma in Transport Management. She holds a BCom in Marketing Management, a BCom Honours in Logistics Management, and an MCom in Business Management with specialisation in Supply Chain Management. Her research interests include supply chain resilience, environmental and social sustainability, modern slavery. and the application of Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies in supply chains. Hemisha has published in peer-reviewd academic journals and presented her work at both nation and international conferences. She is passionate about teaching, research, and contributing to practical solutions that can help build more ethical, responsive, and sustainable supply chains.
