MASTER’S DEGREE IN ENERGY STUDIES

Admission to the Master’s in Energy Studies preferably requires an Honours Degree in Energy Studies, although a student with Honours or 4-year degree in a related subject, together with appropriate experience in the energy industry, may be considered for admission. An average of at least 65% for the Honours/fourth year of the previous degree is required. It may be required of a student who did not complete the Energy Studies Honours programme to register for, and successfully complete, one or more of the subjects for the Honours programme in Energy Studies.

dissertation on a subject, conducted under the supervision of a member of the Department, is required. The Degree conferred will be the MPhil (Energy Studies).
