An Honours degree (NQF level 8) in Botany or a relevant field is required for consideration into the Maters programme. The programme is research-based and the degree will be awarded following the successful completion of a dissertation based on an approved research topic. In addition to the above, one or more additional modules may be required by the Departmental Head. The general regulations for Masters Degrees are also applicable. The curriculum consists of a dissertation and such additional research work as may be prescribed by the Departmental Head.
