Chiropractic Clinic
The University of Johannesburg Chiropractic clinic offers a range of treatments for musculoskeletal
conditions. This includes conditions such as headache, neck pain, back pain, sporting injuries and
whiplash. Chiropractors recognise the inborn ability of the body to heal itself, and the relationship
between structure (primarily the spine) and function (primarily the nervous system) in the
restoration and maintenance of health. Chiropractic practitioners are registered with the Allied
Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA).

community. As treatments are performed by students, treatment cannot be refunded by medical
aids.
