Invitation to the launch of State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) webinar series.

The College of Business and Economics (CBE) in collaboration with the Johannesburg Institute for Advanced Studies (JIAS) invites you to the launch of the webinar series titled:

A BREATH OF FRESH AIR FOR STATE OWNED ENTERPRISES (SOEs)!

The aim of the webinar series is to create a platform which brings together practitioners, professionals, academics, policymakers, and other stakeholders involved and interested in the critical areas of SOE management and governance with a view to presenting to South Africans a new and reimagined SOE. In seminars to follow, leading local and international experts will lead discussions on the various topics. The topics will include:

  • Re-evaluating the rationale and public value of SOEs
  • Reimagining SOEs governance and legal framework
  • Reinvigorating SOEs operations
  • Repositioning SOEs strategic postures
