CBE Mandela Day

On July 19th, 2024, the College of Business and Economics (CBE) at Auckland Park Kingsway Campus marked Mandela Day with a special event. The CBE Dean’s Office was full of activity as staff, students, and visitors came together to write motivational messages for Grade 9 students who will be attending the upcoming Subject Choice Seminar.

With their colourful pens in hand, participants wrote heartfelt notes of encouragement and inspiration. While they were writing their messages they enjoyed a warm spread of soup, buns, and hot drinks. And as a thank-you, each person received a pair of CBE-branded socks.

This event displayed a strong sense of community, with many staff members and students taking part. Together they created a collection of uplifting messages that will surely have a positive impact on the Grade 9 students.
