Smart Classroom Project: Provisioning And Installation of Security Systems in 12 Pilot Teaching and Learning Venues at All UJ Campuses

Compulsory Onsite Tender Briefing Date: Friday, 25 July 2025.

First Compulsory onsite Campus Visit:

Meeting at: University of Johannesburg Auckland Park Kingsway Campus (APK Campus) – Protection Services Office. Please use entrance/gate 1 (Kingsway Road).

Time: 09h00am to 10h00am.

Second Compulsory onsite Campus Visit:

Meeting at: University of Johannesburg Bunting Road Campus (APB Campus) Outside Protection Services Office – Please use Gloria Sekwena entrance / Annette Street entrance.

Time: 10h30am to 11h30am.

Third Compulsory onsite Campus Visit:

Meeting at: Doornfontein Campus (DFC Campus) Outside Protection Services Offices – Please use Main gate entrance.

Time: 12h30pm to 13h30pm.

Fourth Compulsory onsite Campus Visit:

Meeting at: Soweto Campus – Outside Protection Services Offices – Please use Chris Hani Road

Time: 14h30pm to 15h30pm.

Mandatory minimum requirement for this project:

Company to supply Accreditation letter from OEM from the below

• Avigilon / Motorola Solutions Certificate and must be valid.
• Impro certified integrator certificate and must be valid.

Notes:

1. Please note that for suppliers to get access to tender packs they must attend all 4 Campuses compulsory onsite briefing sessions and there will be a register to be complete on each campus. Failure to attend all 4 Campuses you won’t be able to participate in the tender process.
2. Suppliers are requested to submit their quotes per Campus, so we will receive 4 quotes from suppliers and clearly state the campus quoted for.
3. Please also note that Suppliers must bring their own refreshments, University will not be providing the refreshments for this site briefing.

Please note that only suppliers who attend the compulsory tender briefing session will have access to the UJ bid document.

UJ reserves the right in its sole discretion, to appoint one or more bidders as it may deem necessary in the circumstances.

Note: Bidders are requested to register on Oracle iCloud Application portal before attending the briefing session to enable access to the tender documents.  Registration link is on the UJ website at supplier management. I have attached a User Training Manual – Oracle Cloud Supplier Response that will assist you during registration process. Bidders who are already registered or on UJ data base please make sure that your company documents are updated and valid to avoid being blocked on the system and not being able to access the tender pack.
