What is Internationalisation?

The term internationalisation or global engagement refers to a university’s ongoing efforts to maintain, grow or enhance its international footprint and impact. This is advanced in a number of ways, including wide-ranging agreements signed with other institutions of higher learning outside the country’s borders, outbound/inbound student exchange programmes, as well as joint research and joint curriculum development. Under the university’s Strategic Plan 2035, we place emphasis on partnerships and collaborations that are underpinned by sustainability and societal impact.
