09/07 – 15/10/2020TIPC Policy Experimentation
The Chair engaged in a Transformative Innovation Policy experiment, enabled by the Department of Science and Innovation in South Africa and coordinated by The Transformative Innovation Policy Consortium (TIPC). The policy experiment started on 9th July 2020 and lasted 14 weeks. It focused on water conservation, developed around the ‘Living Catchments’ project hosted at SANBI. It involved building the capacity of policy makers on applying the Transformative Innovation Policy lens using the Transformative Outcomes methodology.

Joint event with Globelics discussing adoption of emerging technologies in the Global South. Speakers from South Africa, Argentina, and Malaysia presented findings.
