Hosted by the UJ Library and College of Business and Economics.

There are eight main areas of self-care: physical, psychological, emotional, social, professional, environmental, spiritual, and financial. Self-care helps people to keep calm and positive and stay away from all the negativities! Research suggests that self-care promotes positive health outcomes, such as fostering resilience, living longer, and becoming better equipped to manage stress. When you’re self-loving, you’re fuelled by an appreciation of your worth, and that of others.

NOTE TO SELF: Self-love IS NOT self-absorbedness fueled by a need to control.
