UJ’s exams postponed

​​The University of Johannesburg’s (UJ) Management and the leadership of the University’s Student Representative Council (SRC) reached an agreement following discussions of the joint government and universities decision to implement a 0% fee increase for 2016, and related matters.

Please take note of point 8 of the agreement which affects the academic calendar regarding assessments:

  • The study break (block week) shall now be from 31 October 2015 to 06 November 2015.
  • The examinations shall now commence on 07 November 2015 instead of 31 October 2015.
  • The supplementary examinations are now scheduled for 07 to 11 December 2015.​
