Purpose

The purpose of this SLP is to provide students with a solid background to the theory and practice of project management. The
programme introduces the major areas of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) as well as a comprehensive
covering of the life cycle of the project. It includes both the proven and traditional approaches to project management as well
as the more innovative and novel practices that are becoming available.
