Annual Postgraduate Research Conference 

Are you a registered Master’s student or PhD candidate? 

Have you got research findings you’d like to share with the wider university community?

Are you looking for a supportive environment where you can give your first conference presentation? 

If you answered yes to these questions, read on.

Every year, the UJ Postgraduate School offers Master’s students and PhD candidates the opportunity to share their work, engage with a community of peers and receive feedback from expert academics. This year, the conference is taking place on Wednesday, 16 October at the School of Tourism and Hospitality on the Auckland Park Bunting Road Campus and we’re inviting you to submit your abstract for an ORAL PRESENTATION or a POSTER

If you would like to present your research, please complete the form, providing your name, contact information and a 300-word abstract describing your research.

Last date for submission of abstracts is Friday, 20 September 2019

You will be informed whether your abstract is accepted by 4 October

To be eligible to present your research at the conference, you must:

  • be a registered UJ Master’s student or PhD candidate to enter
  • have your supervisor’s approval 
  • have received ethical clearance, if appropriate, for your research
  • have substantive findings to present.
