Vox-Pops: Students reflect on 2020 UJ orientation week

​One of the 2019 Top 33 matriculants nationally, Tiyani Mbendzani, a blind Limpopo learner who was invited to a meet and greet with the Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga, embarked on the University’s orientation programme, also known as the First Year Seminar (FYS), which saw thousands of new first-year students exploring UJ’s campuses and facilities.

The programme, started on Tuesday 28 January and ends on Friday 31 January 2020, providing incoming students the chance to connect with other new students, get familiar with the academic program and get to know their way around campus.
