UJ’s leading alumnae focus on women’s financial literacy

Date: May 26, 2021 | News

On May 18, the University of Johannesburg (UJ) Alumni Office in collaboration with Professional Provident Society (PPS) hosted the 2021 Money Matters conference themed ‘Building a healthy relationship with money’. This conference was designed to equip students and recent graduates with tools to succeed in the workplace after graduation.

“Money Matters” brought together prominent alumni and other industry leaders on Zoom to help attendees identify goals and strategise their paths towards personal growth in the areas of wellness, financial literacy and professional development.

The session was UJ’s first large-scale, virtual event, and over 100 students and alumni participated. It is a revival of a personal development conference the Convocation previously hosted in person for alumni.
